Black silk twill weave bodice with light pink silk jacquard square ruffle detail at shoulders and cuffs, and contrasting stomacher-like panel. Swirling cord appliqué details along v-neckline with small ruffle detail at neckline. Black silk twill weave skirt with same light pink silk jacquard panel at front center with same looping cord appliqué along sides of center panel, gathered at the waistband in the back with ruffled hem with contrasting white velvet hem tape. c. 1890s-1900.
