This is an ECSC 700 thesis exploring carbon storage and sequestration rates in urban Miyawaki native forest restoration sites. Two macro-regions are studied, Valdivia and Santiago, Chile. Soil samples were taken from paired pits and analyzed using thermogravimetric analysis and elemental analysis procedures. Thesis written in Spanish with abstract and figure captions in Spanish and English.
